April is here and I’m sure everyone has heard the saying “April showers bring May flowers.” Spring is one of those seasons that is so beautiful but also brings us the most powerful storms. This reminds me of when I became a newly born again christian. Being born again was beautiful and so fulfilling, like I was a flower that just bloomed. But with that, Satan began throwing powerful storms at me trying to knock me from my ground.

A lot of times, we can get distracted by the storm that has been thrown our way and deviate off our journey of faith. We get so distracted that all we can see is all the damage the storm is doing.

Psalm 107:29 states “He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves are still.”

Matthew 8:26 Jesus says “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” before rebuking the winds and waves and calming the storm.

The Lord will calm your storm, we must have faith in Him and trust in His plan. When we do, you will see that He will get you through to the other side. In the eye of the storm, focus on Him. Pray and He will guide you, no matter how rough the storm is.
