5.8.25
I haven’t posted in awhile, I’ve been extremely busy with studying for finals and working on transferring to a new university. But during this time I have learned that prayer truly does work, I won’t get into the story as I have previously done a post on the power of prayer. But with that, I want to discuss how prayer and loyalty in our faith can lead to healing whether it’s emotional, mental, or physical.
Jeremiah 30:17 says, “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds’ declares the Lord.”
Exodus 23:25 says, “Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away your sickness from among you.” When we stay loyal in our faith, God will reward us with great healings.
James 5:14-15 says, “Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.” This shows that prayer in addition to faith will heal the sick and forgive the ones who have sinned. When we are saved God will begin to shower us with blessings we could never imagine.
Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” God can heal even the mental and emotional wounds we may have. He is the great physician.
There are so many more scriptures that speak on healing. When you feel down, look one up and try to find peace. Pray to God and He will heal you. Never be afraid to call on the Lord.
Stay blessed.
